As many of you have seen by now, Scottsburg High School has been chosen as one of the participants in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights contest. Here is the program overview: T-Mobile has invested billions to bring our 5G network to small towns, including programs to connect kids across America and upgrade parks, playgrounds, libraries, and local businesses. Now, we’re giving your hometown the 5G advantage and upgrading football fields across America by introducing Friday Night 5G Lights. Friday nights are when we come together to play, get loud and connect. We’re partnering with Rob Gronkowski for Friday Night 5G Lights to take hometown pride to new heights, giving 300 schools $5,000 each, 16 finalists $25,000 each and one grand prize winner a multi-million dollar football field upgrade – equipped with the best 5G in the game. Your application will be reviewed and verified by the T-Mobile team, and you will be notified by early October if you’ve been selected as a finalist. In the meantime, you can participate in an additional social sweepstakes that will take place from now until September 20. HOW YOU CAN HELP!!! Every high school that enters Friday Night 5G Lights can also invite the community to help give them a chance at winning $5,000 in T-Mobile’s “$5K Fridays” weekly sweepstakes. Yes, that means your community can help you win! Get students, teachers, parents and the rest of the town to share their own posts, which will increase your school’s chance of winning the cash prize. Each post from a community member following the criteria below counts as another entry for your school, so get the word out and get the town posting! How to Enter Between Friday Aug. 1 and Sept. 20, T-Mobile will randomly select 50 schools each week – totaling 300 – to win $5,000.
