Warrior Football will face Madison Consolidated this Friday at 7 pm at Warrior Field in the 2nd round of the IHSAA Sectional. The Warriors defeated Owen Valley 76-9 to advance to play the Cubs this coming Friday. The Cubs received the bye in the first round of Sectional. In the Warriors 76-9 victory, QB Nathan Byrd was 10/16 for 277 yards and 6 touchdowns. RB Landon Shuck carried the ball 15 times for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns. Garrett Boling caught 3 passes for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, Mason Coulter had 5 solo tackles to lead the Warriors. Garrett Boling led the team with 6 total tackles with one for a loss while Jacob June led the team with 3 tackles for loss and Conner McDill added 4 tackles with 2 for a loss. Nathan Byrd set the school record with 6 touchdown passes and the 76 points scored is also a school record. Tucker Doriot tied the school record with 8 PAT made in the game. No live animal mascots are permitted at any time. 5. The facility should be as neutral as possible without any enhancements that emphasize a home team.
