Scottsburg Varsity Warriors were victorious over Columbus East Varsity Olympians, 7-2 Scottsburg got on the board in the second inning when Dawson Richey singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. David Edwards pitched the Warriors to victory. The lefty lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out 15 and walking zero. Will Boyer took the loss for Columbus East. The bulldog went four innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, striking out five and walking zero. Scottsburg socked two home runs on the day. Kaden Raichel put one out in the seventh inning. Tanner Best went deep in the fourth inning. Scottsburg totaled 11 hits. Raichel, Brandt Kendall, and Best each managed multiple hits for the Warriors. Raichel went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Scottsburg in hits. Columbus East scattered seven hits in the game.
