The Scottsburg boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed Saturday at North Harrison High School in the Mid-Southern Conference Championships, facing off against a strong field of conference opponents. On the boys’ side, Jr. Kameron Reed led the Warriors with an impressive time of 17:42.67, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference honors for his performance. Gavin Curley followed with a time of 18:47.98, helping Scottsburg close out their regular season with steady improvement across the roster. Both boys PR'd in the meet. In the girls’ race, the Warriorettes were led by Addison Elliott (25:37.61), followed closely by Addison Eldridge (26:19.41) and Briley Bary (26:32.46). The trio represented Scottsburg well in a deep field dominated by Corydon Central, who captured the girls’ team title with 27 points. Both teams will now turn their attention to the upcoming IHSAA Sectional meet as they look to continue their progress and post strong postseason results. Congratulations to Kameron Reed on his All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition and to both teams for their hard work and dedication throughout the season.
