The Scottsburg Warriors are set to open postseason play at home on Friday, October 24th, when they host the Edgewood Mustangs in the first round of the IHSAA Sectional. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Warrior Field. The Warriors enter the matchup with a 7-2 record, riding a season of strong performances on both sides of the ball. Scottsburg’s balanced attack and tough defense have been key to their success, as they look to continue that momentum into the playoffs. Edgewood comes into the game at 5-3, looking to make a statement on the road. The Mustangs have shown the ability to put points on the board, setting up what should be an exciting sectional showdown under the lights.
