Warriorettes Set for Annual Purple and Gold Game This Saturday

The excitement of basketball season returns to Meyer Gym this weekend as the Scottsburg Warriorettes host their annual Purple and Gold Game on Saturday evening. The event will showcase players from the elementary, middle school, and high school programs, offering fans an early look at the future and present of Warriorette basketball. Admission is free, but the team will be collecting donations for the Beth Thompson Church Memorial Scholarship, a cause close to the program’s heart. The evening’s schedule is packed with introductions, scrimmages, and community spirit from start to finish: 2025-26 Purple/Gold Game Agenda 5:00 pm – Doors Open 6:00 pm – Welcome and sponsor recognition 6:00 pm – 4th/5th grade warm-up 6:05 pm – Introduction of 4th & 5th grade coaches and players 6:10 pm – 4th/5th Grade Scrimmage (12 minutes) 6:25 pm – 5th/6th grade warm-up 6:30 pm – Introduction of 6th grade coaches and players 6:35 pm – 5th/6th Grade Scrimmage (12 minutes) 6:50 pm – 7th/8th grade warm-up 6:55 pm – Introduction of 7th & 8th grade coaches and players 7:00 pm – 7th/8th Grade Scrimmage (12 minutes) 7:15 pm – Warriorettes warm-up 7:20 pm – Introduction of the 2025-26 Warriorettes 7:25 pm – Warriorette Scrimmage (20 minutes) The Purple and Gold Game is always one of the most anticipated events of the preseason — a chance for fans to celebrate the hard work of players and coaches across all levels of the Warriorette basketball program.
